What Home Means to Me
Please join me at the ARTHOUSE Gallery & Studios this coming Saturday April 8, 2017 to preview my latest work for the “What Home Means to Me” project. Seven artists were chosen in January to transform recycled doors into works of art. You can see all seven entries at ARTHOUSE, this Second Saturday - April 8, 2017. This could be your only chance to see the doors. They will be auctioned off at the Habitat for Humanity Gala on April 28th and then will be in private collections ever after!
Habitat for Humanity - Door ProjectThe Habitat for Humanity Doors Project is a collaborative project that is part of the 2017 Hard Hats & High Heels Gala. The project brings together local artists to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission of creating a world where everyone has a safe, decent place to call home.

More About the Doors Project
This new and unique element to the Habitat Gala will bring together interested, selected, socially-conscious local artists to create artwork on a recycled door (provided by the Habitat ReStore) in the theme of “what home means to you.” Artwork can include, but is not limited to, painting, collage, recycled materials, and more. Creativity and inventiveness are encouraged.
The doors will be displayed prior to the Gala for public viewing at ARTHOUSE on R throughout the month of April and will be part of their Second Saturday event and then auctioned off on Friday, April 28th as part of the event.
